Giving is a scheme which allows employees to donate
a given amount to any UK charity(s) of their choice
directly from your salary. Because it is taken before
tax it costs less to give the charities more. This
means that for every £1 given, the actual
cost to an employes is 78p* - the tax office
pays the rest!
In order for your
employees to donate this way, you must have a Payroll
Giving Scheme in place. Its easy to set up
a scheme - almost all modern payroll systems can
accommodate this easily and once in place takes
around 10 mins. each payroll.
